360 - Studio Pilates

The perfect way to mix up your Move!

360 is the workhorse session.

At Move Move, we’re not just a Pilates Studio, we’re a community dedicated to health and wellness right here in Cheltenham.

And our Studio Pilates sessions, are a great place to start Pilates for beginners. Whether you’re recovering from an injury, have back pain or just wanting to ramp up your fitness game, we’ve got you covered.

Plenty of movement.

Enjoy pushing and pulling, sitting and standing, twisting and bending. Just don’t expect any standing still unless you’re balancing on something. (Ideally, a very wobbly something!)

We call these classes 360 because you’ll get a full body workout. Moving every part of your body in every direction. Even some you never knew you could!

Lots of room to play.

Topped at 3, 360 is also a great intro to some very odd toys and our amazing instructors. Step into our Studio Pilates playground and prepare to be amazed.

From the Pilates Barrel to the Pilates Reformer to the Pilates Chair (yes, it’s a thing), we’ve got all the funky equipment to keep your workout interesting. Then there’s that thigh-squeezing Magic Circle (hmm, thigh-squeezing magic-circle). And maybe a jiggle or two on the Hypervibe…

RFR - Reformer Pilates

Donā€™t stop ’til you get enough.

Real Reformer Pilates.

You may already know the Reformer from ā€œbootcampā€ or ā€œdynamicā€ Pilates, and understand that just because youā€™re using one doesnā€™t mean youā€™re doing Pilates.

Despite the fake news hype, Pilates isnā€™t a ā€˜No pain, no gainā€ exercise program. Yet a fitness-Pilates fusion fad has flooded Melbourne with trainers teaching large ā€œsmall groupā€ classes with little-to-no proper education on the practice. Hence, aerobics on a Reformer.

Our guarantee.

RFR is completely different to what you are used to. First, your Instructor eases you in gently (a.k.a. The Warm-up). Then using moves based on science or anatomy goes freestyle. Lying, kneeling, sitting, or standing; RFR is a fight for balance between mind and body. And as you come to more and more sessions, youā€™ll find yourself not only gaining confidence, but progressing at the right speed to the more complicated.

Not mindless movement.

And it may feel like youā€™re just tugging ropes or sliding back and forth (sometimes you might bounce on a trampoline!) but itā€™s packed with movement in all directions. Youā€™ll grow to think of our Reformers as ā€œsmart bedsā€ that pinpoint your weak spots safely, as it balances your strengths.

Our very popular signature Tower Pilates classes deliver a smorgasbord of Move. Hereā€™s that opportunity to perfect that trapeze act youā€™ve always dreamt of (but from the comfort of a mat). An awesome way for you to gain your Pilates legs so itā€™s harder to fall.

Introduce yourself to the Hypervibe. A state-of-the-art unit that will shake up your day (in a good way!). We take all the moves you love from Pilates and do them on a vibrating platform.
